Xeo Quyt Relic is located in the My Long and My Hiep Communes of Cao Lanh District, Dong Thap Province, 30 kilometers from Cao Lanh City. This spot was the strategic base of Dong Thap people in the fight against the U.S. from 1960 to 1975.
The relic is divided into two areas. The first area has a total area of 50 hectares. It is the area that preserves the historical and cultural values of the revolutionary base during the resistance war and natural ecological diversity. Its dense mangrove forests provided cover for guerrilla fighters, and remnants of bunkers and tunnels still stand as silent witnesses to that period of history. The second area is a 20-hectare area serving as an area for business activities. Currently, Xeo Quyt Relic is recognized as a national historical relic. You can find preserved evidence here, such as combat fortifications, bomb shelters, secret bunkers, etc.

The distance from Ho Chi Minh City to Cao Lanh City (Dong Thap) is about 145 kilometers, taking you about three hours. From Can Tho, you must spend about two hours getting to Cao Lanh City.

If you are confident with your driving ability, you can choose to drive your own motorbike or car and stop en route to rest. Otherwise, you can use a coach or guided tour to get to Dong Thap.
The coaches from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Thap depart from Mien Tay bus station or a few points in the city. You can choose the Phuong Trang, Tam Nong, Tai Loi, Quang Phat, and Kim Cuong buses. The ticket price ranges from VND 80,000 depending on the time of booking. If you depart from Can Tho, you can also travel by waterway on the Hau River, through Bang Tang - Cai Dua, Ba Goa - Vinh Thoi, Tan Loc - Tan Thanh, Tan Loc - Cai Doi, and Bo Ot - Dinh An. Ferry time is from 6.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. The ticket price is from VND 20,000 depending on the choice of ferry.

Especially, 13 rare animal species are recorded in the Vietnam Red Book. They are pythons, buffalo cobras, box turtles, broad-billed lemongrass birds, otters, etc.
