The first route: Highway 6 - Ho Chi Minh Trail - Cam Thuy - Canh Nang (Ba Thuoc) - Pu Luong (about 

This route from Hanoi to Pu Luong is about 185 kilometers, taking 4 hours and 30 minutes. Take Highway 6 to Xuan Mai Town, then turn left to the Ho Chi Minh Trail and go through Cuc Phuong, you will come to Cam Thuy Town. From here, you will continue driving and turn right to Canh Nang town, Ba Thuoc, and turn right to La Han Bridge to get to Ban Don (Don Village). You can drop in the Cam Luong fish stream or Cuc Phuong National Park along this route.

The second route: Hanoi - Hoa Binh - Mai Chau - Pu Luong (185 kilometers)

If you choose this route, it will take about 5 hours to get to Pu Luong from Hanoi. Like the first route, you will follow Highway 6 to Hoa Binh. After that, you can choose between one of two roads through Lung Van valley or Ban Lac, Mai Chau, to Pu Luong.
