At noon, we'll treat you to a delectable Saigon cuisine lunch at a charming local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we embark on a remarkable journey from the bustling heart of Saigon to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels. Leaving behind the urban sprawl as the riverbanks transform into a lush jungle within just 15 minutes. Soaking yourself in the picturesque scenery, savor a light breakfast featuring sandwiches or pastries, fresh tropical fruits, and a refreshing Vietnamese iced coffee. 

Arriving at the Cu Chi Tunnels, delve into the rich history of these underground passages, which played a pivotal role in the Vietnam War. Explore the network of tunnels, gaining insight into the resourcefulness of the Vietnamese soldiers who used them.

There, we'll set sail on a traditional wooden boat, meandering through the winding river, and immersing ourselves in the local culture. Discover a wide range of varied cottage industries, from coconut processing to brick making and mat weaving..., gaining a deep appreciation for the region's craftsmanship. Experience the charm of daily life as you explore the surroundings by bicycle and rowing sampan. 

A delicious lunch at a local restaurant will satisfy your taste buds with authentic flavors. As the day draws to a close, we'll return to Saigon, concluding this enriching adventure around 5 p.m., leaving you with cherished memories of the Mekong Delta's scenic beauty.

You leave the morning free and then board a flight from Danang to Danang. Upon your arrival, our team will warmly welcome you and escort you to Hoi An, where history comes to life. 

In the afternoon explore the captivating Hoi An Old Town, where history and fun intertwine. Unravel the mysteries of this UNESCO World Heritage site, solving clues and discovering hidden gems as you explore its vibrant streets.

In the evening, you’ll have tickets for a Bamboo Circus Show presented by Lune Performance. The show combines traditional Vietnamese storytelling, puppetry, and acrobatics with a modern twist, all set against the backdrop of a mesmerizing bamboo stage. It's a fantastic opportunity for the whole family to immerse themselves in Vietnamese culture while being thoroughly entertained.

At 9:00 AM, we'll pick you up from your hotel, and the adventure commences as we drive over the breathtaking Hai Van Pass, offering panoramic views of the picturesque landscapes below. Prepare to be enchanted by the lush beauty of Bach Ma National Park as we arrive at 12:00 AM and check-in at the park visiting center. 

An exciting drive to the viewpoint awaits, where you'll be treated to awe-inspiring vistas that will take your breath away. After that, indulge in a delightful picnic lunch to recharge your energy before embarking on an afternoon trek along the Five Lake trails to witness the majestic Do Quyen waterfall. The cascading waters amidst the serene surroundings create a truly magical experience. As the day comes to a close, we'll bid farewell to the park's natural wonders and head back to the Hue city center. The trip ends at your hotel around 6:00 PM.

Next, we'll take you to the enchanting Truc Chi Gallery, a haven of artistic inspiration where you'll witness the process of paper making from bamboo, and even have the chance to create your own bamboo paper art, making your visit a truly immersive cultural experience.

Savor a delectable local lunch in the charming Thuy Bieu village, hosted by a welcoming local family. In the afternoon, we journey to the enchanting Tu Duc Tomb, a testament to Vietnamese imperial architecture. The highlight of the day comes as we join a hands-on paper flower-making workshop, led by talented deaf artisans, offering not only a creative experience but also a chance to support the local handicapped community. We wrap up this unforgettable day and return to your hotel around 5:00 PM, leaving you with cherished memories and a sense of goodwill.

Enjoy a leisurely morning on your own until our driver arrives to transfer you to Hue Airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon landing in Hanoi, our guide will be waiting to greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel for check-in. 

In the afternoon, we visit the enlightening Museum of Ethnology, providing insights into the nation's diverse heritage. As the day unfolds, we'll transition to the enchanting Old Quarter, a maze of historic streets brimming with vibrant markets and hidden gems. There’s also time for a mesmerizing water puppet show, where delicate puppetry, live music, and enchanting stories portray folktales and legends. 

Meal: breakfast, lunch, dinner | Accommodation: on board the Treasure Junk

8:00 to 8:30 am we will pick you up at your hotel and leave on our shuttle bus for a 3.5-hour drive to Halong City. 

Upon arrival, we'll board the Treasure Junk for a delightful cruise through Halong Bay, savoring a delicious seafood lunch (vegetarian and kid's options available). After lunch, take it easy and soak in the breathtaking scenery of limestone formations rising from the emerald water. Our first stop awaits at the convergence of Halong and Bai Tu Long waters, where you'll have the chance to paddle through the bay with our kayaks. As the sun sets, enjoy a cocktail on board while we sail to our night anchorage spot. Dinner will be served indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather. You'll spend the night in our comfortable, air-conditioned cabins with en-suite bathrooms aboard the Treasure.

Awaken to the serene misty bay at 6:30 a.m., where coffee, tea, and cakes await. You can choose to energize your body, mind, and soul with a 30-minute Tai Chi session led by our onboard master or simply bask in the sun with coffee. Later, embark on a bamboo boat to explore a secluded floating village, meandering through floating houses and rowing boats serving various purposes. Returning to the Treasure before 9:00 a.m., we'll cruise back to the pier, followed by a brunch at 9:30. 

As we bid farewell to the majestic rocks guarding the kingdom, we'll head to the pier and get a private transfer back to Tam Coc. The drive will take us around 4 hours, reaching Tam Coc in the late afternoon.

After breakfast, we then embark on traditional rowing sampan for about one hour on a less-traveled canal of the region. It goes through caves and along the border with the natural site of Trang An. Afterward, you’ll hop on bicycles for an easy-paced ride through scenic rural landscapes in Tam Coc. There’s time for a visit to Bich Dong Pagoda en route. The site offers a nice climb up to the top building for a breathtaking view of the Tam Coc area. The cycling route ends at a local house and we enjoy a home-cooked lunch.

14:00 – Leave from Tam Coc for around 3 hours driving to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Dinner and overnight at a traditional house-on-stilts in a local resort.

Meal: breakfast, lunch, dinner | Accommodation: in Mai Chau

After breakfast, we should be ready for a full-day trek through the Nature Reserve. The day starts with a light trek to Kho Muong village and ends with a late lunch at the village’s local house. In the afternoon, you’ll decide to trek a little bit further or take a quick drive to Mai Chau. The trekking route is at the intermediate level which includes some single trails leading you through local villages and rice terraces. 

You’ll arrive in Mai Chau in mid-afternoon and check in a local homestay for dinner and overnight accommodation.

The accommodation is provided by a local family in their traditional house on stilts. There’s no private room and you’ll sleep on the floor in a large communal area. The sleeping corner is set up with a single mattress (thin, but adequate), blankets (ditto), pillow, and mosquito net. The restroom is at the international standard and a few steps from the main house. An upgraded accommodation to a boutique resort is available with a surcharge.

Easy morning, you can have a small walk around the village or take local bicycles to their morning market and villages nearby. Back to the homestay for lunch.

In the afternoon, you’ll return to Hanoi with a new perspective on life in rural Vietnam and some fantastic memories stored in the camera and in your heart.
