Phong Nha - Ke Bang in Quang Binh Province has become one of Vietnam’s most well-known destinations. Hue to Phong Nha by motorbike

If you would like to explore and admire the sceneries and some attractions along the way, traveling by motorbike will be the right choice. By hiring a motorbike, you can control your time, your route, and stop to take pictures.

The distance from Hue to Phong Nha is about 210 kilometers. It will take you about 4 to 5 hours to reach Phong Nha, depending on your speed and your route. You can follow the 1A highway to Quang Tri and Quang Binh Province from the center of Hue city. Coming to Quang Binh, you will continue your journey by going across Dong Hoi city, turning left to the 16 highway, and the 20 provincial route to reach Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.

Traveling by motorbike is an exciting experience; however, if you come to Vietnam for the first time and are not familiar with Vietnamese roads, you should choose to travel by bus to reach Phong Nha. You will spend about 4,5 hours staying on the bus to get to the national park.

Hue to Phong Nha by train

Taking the train from Hue to Phong Nha is also an exciting experience during your trip to Vietnam. From Hue Railway Station, you will take the train to Dong Hoi Railway Station, and then from here; you can take a taxi, shuttle bus to the center of Phong Nha.

You can choose to take the SE8 and SE6 train if you would like to come to Phong Nha in the morning and spend your day exploring Phong Nha. Otherwise, you can take the afternoon train, SE2, and SE4 to go to Phong Nha in the evening and have your own relaxation time at night.
