Pu Luong Map
2Handspan is currently offering three Pu Luong tours. We enter the Nature Reserve from Mai Chau.
Suggested itinerary:
Pu Luong nature reserve offers a perfect ground for trekkers, cyclists, and big outdoors addicts. Not too hard but demanding enough, the trip requires you to be fit. But the reward is huge and offered by Mother Nature herself.
Trekking tours:
Our tour including half-day trekking in Mai Chau before entering Pu Luong Nature Reserve through Road 15C. The scenery is breathtaking with mountains, forests, rivers, cascades, and terraced rice fields. Villages visited including Ban Sai, Ban Hang, Ban Eo Ken, Ban KhoMuong, and Ban Hieu. Homestay or eco-lodge is available in Mai Hich and Ban Hieu village.
Cycling tours:
This trip takes you through Mai Chau valley and to the splendid Pu Luong ecolodge. Lush green forest, deep valleys, cascades and natural pool are what you can expect from the trips. Villages to be passing by en-route include Ban Eo Ken, Ban Kho Muong, and Ban Hieu. You can meet locals, trade stories, ask questions, and come away with something new.
Both tours can be extended with Moc Chau plateau, Ninh Binh and Halong Bay.
From the mountains to Halong Bay:
This little (but extendable) loop takes you along a limestone mountain range stretching from the western boundaries of the country to the legendary seascape of Halong. Sceneries change every day, from green paddies of Mai Chau valley, through the forest of Pu Luong nature reserve and the towering limestone peaks of Ninh Binh, to Halong and Bai Tu Long bays. If you want the pleasure to last longer, contact our travel consultants to add an extra day at any of those destinations.
