Hoi An is an iconic spot of tourism in Vietnam. A little port town shaped for centuries by sailors from around the world. It is colorful, features breathtaking architecture, long sandy beaches, and diverse and delicious gastronomy. Sounds like paradise? Well, almost. If the hospitality offer in Hoi An always was of very good quality, the level of tourism and entertainment level has been quite poor… until now.

A potential unrevealed

This is a fact, no travel operator really took out more of Hoi An’s travel potential so far. Why? would you ask? We are about to give you a possible explanation. It is easy and made in two points.

First, the old quarter and the beach nearby focused all the attention. Hoi An has been long considered simply as a seaside destination. People go there to relax on the beach in the day and walk the old town in the evening. Simple, basic, and somehow there was nothing much to do further. Well, some did try to offer activities other than the beach and it takes us to our second point.

Second, then, people of Hoi An are pretty poor travel developers. When it comes to creating tours, designing travel experiences, thinking tourism, the expertise is in the North of Vietnam. Without much experience, some companies developed cooking classes, cycling tours, and a few other things but never succeeded in making a wow! product.   

Brighter tourism days to come

Something was to be done. We could not have an inconsistent offer in Hoi An any longer. So here it comes, a range of new activities and tours that will take you off your sunbath chair. Row a traditional longtail dragon boat, paddle kayaks, ride bamboo bikes, explore some mangrove, get to the forest on a funky Jeep ride, meet a skillful bamboo craftsman, see the lantern lighting up from a boat on the river… All of this combined in thrilling tours ranging from few hours to full days.
